The NOVA Program of Mecklenburg County. NOVA is a yearlong educational program for voluntary and court ordered perpetrators of domestic violence designed to provide practical information on how to change abusive behaviors toward intimate partners.

The NC Council for Women and the Domestic Violence Commission. The N.C. Council for Women and Domestic Violence Commission is an advocacy agency within the North Carolina Department of Administration.

NC Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCCADV) is a community of agencies and individuals who serve battered women and their children. We are committed to building a society in which our shared beliefs and institutions discourage violence against women. NCCADV was founded in 1981 with 21 participating programs and now includes over 90 member programs. Areas of support to member programs include technical assistance, training, information about public policy initiatives, and activities to increase public awareness activities.

National Institute of Corrections. A part of the US Dept. of Justice. NIC provides training, on-site technical assistance, information, and policy/ program development support to corrections agencies and professionals.

NC Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services. It's goal is to provide citizens with, or at risk of, mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse problems and their families the necessary prevention, intervention, treatment, services and supports they need to live successfully in communities of their choice.
